This is the web page of Caroline Ambrus

She is an irrePRESSible artist, writer and publisher .

She was also a second wave feminist, and a survivor

of domestic and family violence in the 1950-60s.

 

Her daughter, who was a cancer sufferer, was

also the victim of domestic violence and police

maladministration from 2022 onwards.

She died on 12 Febuary 2025. During her illness,

instead of helping her, the NSW police

criminalised her. Consequently Caroline Ambrus

has becomea passionate advocate for

social and personal justice.

 

Her current work is to hold the NSW Police Force

accountable for the way they treated her daughter.

This website is devoted to her struggle. Her work

identifies the reasons behind the escalation of

this social wrong and how the police are implicated,

along with perpetrators, in the continued subjugation

of women through domestic violence policing.
